    Hi Juan-

I was wondering if there was a way to weight the rules different amounts.

For example, with the Tip calculator, a Fuzzy Logician might feel that while the quality of the food should impact the size of the tip, it’s really not the waiter’s fault the food is bad (or a credit to the waiter if the food is good.)

So, one might want to weight the service input more and the food quality input less.

I’ve had good results using weights with my work on Fuzzy Logic in the past with a home grown Ruby version of a Fuzzy Logic engine.

    Hi cw,

as mentioned in another post, you use with w. For example, the weight of the following rule is 0.5

    if x is a then y is b with 0.5
